ABOUT ME
My name is Myla Thomas, and I am a Certified Public Accountant based out of Memphis, Tennessee. I have over 10 years of accounting experience, in both public accounting and private industry. I now operate my own financial services practice. I work primarily with small businesses and individuals, providing them with an affordable option for bookkeeping, reporting, analysis, budgeting, strategic planning, and financial advisory services.
WHAT I'VE DONE
I graduated from the University of Memphis with a Bachelors in Accounting and an MBA from the Fogelman College of Business. After passing the CPA Exam, I worked as a financial statement auditor for international public accounting firm KPMG, then later for property management firm CBRE in their Asset Services division. I now use the hands-on experience I gained throughout my career to help my clients reach their personal and professional goals.
WHAT I DO
My favorite thing about having my own financial services practice is that I now have the opportunity to work directly with my clients to help them achieve their goals. No goal is too small, in my opinion. I work one-on-one with my clients to build mutual trust and make their goals a reality, one step at a time. I believe that if you are positive, creative, and hard-working, there are very few things that cannot be achieved.
